LCG Pence Construction is nearing the home stretch on the construction of a full-block mixed-use building in downtown Beaverton. The Rise / Old Town, formerly known as the Signal, was designed by Ankrom Moisan Architects for Rembold and will have78 market-rate studios, one-bedroom units or two-bedroom units and nine live-work units.

The full-block development is bordered by Southwest Farmington Road and 1st Street to the north and south, and Southwest Main and Angel avenues to the west and east. The four-story building steps down to three floors on the southern facing, and measures 82,229 square feet. It has a slab-on-grade foundation and post-tensioned concrete decks on the upper levels. The ground floor of the U-shaped building will have a tuck-under parking and two retail spaces.

Resident amenities will include a community room with a commercial kitchen, a fourth-floor deck with a grill, fire pit, and covered seating, as well as a fitness room and washing stations for pets and bikes. The 13-month project is slated for completion by the beginning of 2017.
