154-unit senior-independent apartment project in Portland, OR
The second of the three phase Russellville project was completed in May of 2004. Russellville Park East is designed for active adults above 55 years. The facility features 154 studio, one and two bedroom apartments, ranging in size from 546 to 985 square feet. Designed by MCM Architects of Portland, Oregon, all apartments are located around a fully landscaped, multi-level, central courtyard that will serve as a gathering place for residents. In addition, all homes have full kitchens and spacious bathrooms and closets. The project includes a restaurant-style dining room, beauty salon, social lounges, activity and recreational areas and covered secure parking. In addition, an approximately 5,000 square feet childcare center is operated onsite. The interior courtyard includes a secured area for the childcare playground, making Russellville Park East a truly co-generational development. The project is located on MAX, Portland's extensive light rail system, and offers many resident services, from transportation to housekeeping services.
